Mironda D. Williams, MD is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist.  Dr. Mironda (as she is affectionately called) is a graduate of Cornell University and Morehouse School of Medicine.  While completing her medical residency at the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Williams was appointed the first African American female chief resident of obstetrics and gynecology.  A native-Atlantan, Dr. Williams is partner in a successful OB-GYN practice in the Atlanta-metropolitan area and founder of WellSpring, an organization dedicated to a vision for medicine and miracles.  The cornerstone of Dr. Williams’ practice is state-of-the-art medical intervention, spiritual revelation, and passionate prayer.  Dr. Williams is a dedicated church member and community volunteer. 

 

Her book, When You and Your Doctor Pray, offers medical reflections and God-inspired prayers for women struggling with gynecological health problems and disease, infertility, and the inability to become pregnant and give birth.  The goal of the book is to renew women’s faithin God, His faithfulness, and to reveal God’s power as ultimate healer and miracle worker.
